Teaching PhotoRealism Techniques - In Photoshop

These drawings were all done in Photoshop in classes where I taught the students the processes involved in building photo-realistic compositions. Skills ranged from sketching, shading, perspective, acrchitectural repetition, reflection techniques, adding life qualities and randomness, building up textural light sources, etc. For most students, these processes were intimidating at first, yet after learning the techniques, they were able to achieve incredible realism.
